Oh Hey, Team!

Molly
C.E.O. and PRESIDENT
“Everyone thinks they have the best dog. And none of them are wrong.” - W.R. Purche
When you meet (and probably hear) Molly, you’ll notice her cheerful energy and easy laugh. Beneath that lively spirit is a quiet ability to listen to animals, something that has guided her since the very beginning. She first discovered this gift while working with horses who had experienced trauma or neglect, finding purpose in helping them rebuild their trust in humans, and most importantly, in themselves. That experience taught her that true progress comes from compassion, patience, and understanding — a foundation she now brings to every dog and Guardian she works with.
With over two decades of experience, Molly has had the privilege of guiding hundreds of dogs of all ages and backgrounds, with a special passion for supporting rescue dogs as they build confidence and find their place in the world. She adapts her approach to fit the needs of each unique team, empowering Guardians to do the work themselves. Molly believes working with dogs and Guardians is about nurturing understanding and patience, fostering trust, honoring their unique bond, and celebrating the journey of growing together — a journey she is honored to share.

"Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." - Roger Caras
Carré has always believed in the power of community—whether that’s built around animals, people, or shared purpose. A lifelong animal lover, she has shared her home with countless furry companions and currently enjoys life with a sweet Labrador, Harper, and two cats, Zephyr and Crusoe. With years of experience leading fundraising and community engagement efforts, Carré brings to Oh Hey, Dog! a passion for connecting people with meaningful causes and ensuring resources are in place to expand impact. Jakob
TREASURER
“No one appreciates the very special genius of your conversation as the dog does.” - Christopher Morely
Jakob supports the non-profit’s financial management, bringing with him 14 years of retail management experience and 8 years as the owner of a successful resale business. While he loves all animals, dogs — especially Dachshunds — hold a special place in his heart. Jakob believes deeply in the importance of the Oh Hey, Dog! mission: providing education, guidance, and support to anyone with a dog, particularly those from rescue and shelter backgrounds. Living in a college town, he sees just how vital this work is for helping both dogs and their Guardians build happy, lasting partnerships.
-
Beth
SECRETARY
"The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog." - Mark Twain (maybe)
Beth has loved dogs her entire life, but that love deepened when she received her first dog—a boxer puppy named Tasha—as a 10th birthday gift from her grandparents. Since then, her affection for our four-legged friends has only grown, along with her dedication to encouraging safe, positive socialization for dogs and their people.
With a background as a teacher and librarian, organization and communication skills are Beth’s bread and butter —and she’s always happy to help guide an unfocused dog (or human) back on track. Her involvement with Oh Hey, Dog! evolved organically, starting when she was looking to re-socialize her dog, Tali, who had become withdrawn and lonely after the loss of Beth’s older dog, Leia. Hesitant at first, Tali attended the weekend playgroups and soon began to heal her little heart and thrive, showing Beth firsthand the power of healthy, intentional dog socialization. Inspired by the difference it made, Beth became more deeply involved as the organization itself grew, eager to help others as much as she and Tali had been helped. Though Tali, Beth, and Beth’s husband Travis now live in Tampa, Beth remains as dedicated and involved as ever to the community and overall mission of Oh Hey, Dog!

Fallon
AKC CANINE GOOD CITIZEN EVALUATOR
“Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen.” - Orhan Pamuk
Fallon has been working with dogs for over 15 years, and in that time she’s met just about every personality out there — from couch-loving snugglers to high-energy zoomie pros. Her passion is helping dogs and their people understand each other better, turning everyday challenges into opportunities for connection. In 2020, Fallon teamed up with Molly to bring that mission to life through the nonprofit.
About three years ago, Fallon also became the organization’s AKC Certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator, a role that allows her to help dogs and their Guardians demonstrate real-world manners and confidence. She believes it’s especially important to test and guide dogs outside of a group setting, where they can truly show how well they handle everyday life. Her favorite part of this work? Watching that “aha!” moment when a dog and their person finally click and realize they’re speaking the same language.

Diana F.
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
“The best therapist has four legs and fur” -Unknown
Diana is a 12-year leukemia survivor who was diagnosed shortly after the birth of her son, Bryce. Her strength, perseverance, and determination have shaped her journey as both a mother and a fighter.
As a young girl, Diana discovered her love for training animals when she began teaching tricks to her beloved pug, Oki. Today, that passion continues with her Australian Shepherd, Pongo, who has mastered more than 20 tricks thanks to Diana’s patience and dedication. Her orange tabby, Remy, has perfected his own “trick”—eating whenever food is available. Diana also tends to a small flock of backyard chickens, including two Silkies and four Golden Comets.
Diana’s connection with Oh Hey, Dog! began when she and Pongo joined their first pack walk. What started as a fun way to enjoy the outdoors quickly became a favorite activity and a meaningful community, giving them the chance to build friendships, share training experiences, and guide other pups through new environments.
When she’s not working with her animals, you’ll find Diana road biking through Gainesville with UF Team Vet Med, staying active with workouts, exploring national parks, and enjoying time with her husband, David, and their son, Bryce.

Diana V.
EDUCATION COORDINATOR
“If the kindest souls were rewarded with the longest lives, dogs would outlive us all” - Unknown
Diana has always been surrounded by dogs and loved them deeply, though she never had the chance to have one of her own until later in life. When she finally brought a dog home, she discovered just how profound the bond between humans and dogs could be. With a background in early childhood education, Diana naturally blended her teaching skills with her dog’s training, bringing together her two passions—education and animals.
Eager to share what she’s learned, Diana is quick to offer advice, encouragement, and support to others navigating challenges with their own dogs. Her dedication to spreading knowledge inspired her to create the Oh Hey, Dog! Coach Mentoring Program. Now in its second pilot year, this three-year program covers everything from understanding, evaluating, and rehabilitating dog behavior to educating guardians. It even incorporates leadership development, public speaking, and a code of ethics for behavior analysts.
While the program was designed to prepare new coaches for our organization, Diana believes these core skills are essential for anyone working with dogs.
Outside of her work, Diana enjoys spending time with her daughters, taking her dogs Max and Luna on adventures, and finding joy in the joy of gardening.

Abby
2nd Year Mentee
“Dogs have a way of finding the people who need them, and filling an emptiness we didn’t ever know we had.” - Thom Jones
Working with dogs has always been a passion for Abby, but it became even more important when she got her dog, Stormi. Abby joined Oh Hey, Dog! in July 2023 to get help training and socializing Stormi, and along the way, Stormi taught her valuable lessons about working with dogs who are fearful, reactive, or in need of structure. Inspired to give back, Abby became more involved with OHD to help others experience the same support she received and to share the knowledge she has gained.
In August 2024, Abby was selected as a first-round mentee in the Oh Hey, Dog! Coach Mentorship Pilot Program. After months of shadowing and engaging with the program’s coursework, Abby began taking on cases to provide guidance herself—an integral step that helped build the program’s foundation and directly shaped its evolution and direction.
As a Coach, Abby enjoys helping the community and making training more accessible for everyone. She also loves planning OHD field trips around Gainesville and the surrounding areas, creating fun, new experiences for dogs and their people. Outside of her work with dogs, Abby enjoys dancing and photographing dogs—activities that keep her inspired and energized.

Zech
1st Year Mentee
"You cannot share your life with a dog, or a cat, and not know perfectly well that animals have personalities, minds, and feelings.” - Jane Goodall
Zech’s interest in dog training began with his incredible dog, Titan, a Great Dane from working lines whose natural instincts made him a challenge — and a teacher — unlike any other. Titan struggled with severe reactivity toward people. Determined to help him, Zech sought guidance and hands-on experience through OhHeyDog!, where he learned the skills and understanding that transformed both their lives.
When Zech joined Oh Hey Dog! just over a year ago and he couldn’t have imagined how far they would come. Once a dog who had bitten multiple people and struggled to coexist with the household’s other dog, Titan can now stroll through bustling farmers markets, train off leash in any environment, and is on his way to competing in dog sports.
Through their journey, Zech discovered a true passion for advocating and working with dogs that struggle with reactivity, learning to understand them on a level most people don’t even realize exists. Outside of training, Zech enjoys combat sports, working out, and spending time with his best friend.
